Oh, boy.
I need to reorient myself. Not writing at camp threw off my groove, and I didn’t even write on Friday and Saturday.
But, no matter, I’m getting back on the grooviest groove. Let’s recap those two weeks.
So, I wrote every day from the 15th through the 20th because it was a normal week. I wrote 3,724 words that week, all added to my WIP. I left for camp on Sunday, came back on Friday afternoon, and spent time with my sisters on Saturday. I didn’t write on Friday and Saturday. I like the excuse that I was re-orienting myself from camp.
In terms of my YWW goals, I only read one lesson.
This week, I’ll have another trip coming up. I’m leaving on Thursday afternoon and returning on Monday night to the swaggiest place you ever did see–Ohio. It’s my sister’s birthday, and she wanted to visit our grandparents who live in Ohio. So I won’t be writing then (again).
That’s another 4 days (I can write Thursday morning) of no writing. However, I am grateful for the rest I get during these trips.
Here are my plans for this week:
Writing:
Write every day (Monday-Thursday). During the trip, I want to polish up my outlines and character templates. So, I won’t write but will get some things done regarding my WIP. I plan to rewrite my outline, fill out major character templates, and plan out some more narrative questions.
YWW:
I haven’t gotten much done regarding the monthly lesson thing. If I prioritize it, I know I can get it done. I need to shape up. I want to listen to the main lesson and complete the implementation exercises.
So, maybe I’m too ambitious to fit these goals into these few days before I leave. Actually, I probably am. I’ve seen how productive I can be if I prioritize my goals and apply myself.
