This Week: Jan. 27-Feb. 1

Let’s recap last week:

Last week I wrote like normal. Now, I’m at over 60,000 words in my WIP and I’m almost done. I think I said I would finish the first draft a couple of weeks ago—this was not the case. However, this week I’m sure I will finish it.

I also met a lot of success on my Substack, with many recent notes getting over a hundred likes. I even revamped my Instagram page to make way for some new content coming after I’ve finish my first draft. Once I finish my first draft, I’m going to post some things and then delete the app from my phone. I need to eliminate some distractions from my life—I have standardized testing coming up and I need to focus. I’ll still be online, but rarely.

Now onto this week’s goals:

This week will be pretty big! I’m going to finish my first draft this week. There is no doubt about it. Once I do, I’m going to post a few fun reels and posts on Instagram. I’ll also give a more in-depth update about my first draft in my February newsletter. I don’t want to spam your emails, so I’m going to merge the two updates into one email.
