This Week: Nov. 25-30

I almost wrote 10k words last week, but Saturday was so busy I wasn’t home to write. I’d wanted to have a mega sprint on Saturday or Sunday afternoon, but I just couldn’t. Besides the busy weekend, I wrote every day and almost reached my goal.

I’ve realized I’m unable to beat NaNoWriMo. Sadly, I am busy or stricken with writer’s block. I won’t be too mad, but I’ll have written more daily than before.

This week is fairly simple.

WIP:

As always, I’ll write every day. I won’t write much this week because it’s a holiday week.

Other:

I have a little routine. I don’t post stories on Instagram much because, after Monday, I delete Instagram from my phone and redownload it whenever I need to manage something. Throughout the week, it’s usually not on my phone. I do this to limit distractions and plant me in the present. Although this habit creates friction on my platform most days, it helps me as an individual. I wish I could post stories on my laptop so I don’t need to download a distracting app. Anyway, my weird tech philosophies don’t agree with the greedy time-grasping platforms we’re all on, so I hope you guys understand.

I’d like to plug my Substack because some friends asked where to find my newsletter. On Substack, you can subscribe to my newsletter, and if you care to download the app, follow my profile to see occasional notes. It’s a great platform if you have social media or abstain from it.

To conclude: I’ll continue my regular routine, but I wanted to clarify some things.

Let’s kick off this holiday week with a bang!
