This week will be busy as usual, but I have a little more time on my hands.
I already announced this in my November newsletter, but I’m reiterating it just in case. I’m ditching the NaNoWriMo organization and won’t be using their website for this month’s challenge. I want to write 50k words in my WIP this month, but I’ll be tracking on my own.
What do I need to get done this week?
WIP
I want to write every day, but I need to maintain a certain word count. Last week, I only got around 2,000 words written for the challenge when I needed around 5,000, and it’s already November 4. I’ll need to write almost 15,000 words this week to catch up; that’s a little more than 2,000 words/day. I won’t be upset if I miss this goal–I’m still fairly busy–but I’ll try harder to prioritize writing.
Other
Again, I want to continue interacting with other writers and growing my community.
One exciting thing planned for this week is something I’m doing with some fellow writers and published authors. Gunner Long, a Christian fantasy author, and fellow teenage writer, asked me to collaborate on Instagram. He recruited a few other writers and made an awesome video. We will post this video sometime this week. Follow my Instagram to see it!
That’s this week–I’m excited to continue working on this dream!
